How it works

  1. Join from your account. You get a link like https://www.aicastcohost.com/?ref=yourname.
  2. Share it - in your stream, your bio, a video description, anywhere you like.
  3. When somebody follows it and buys within 90 days, you earn 20% of what they paid, before tax.
  4. After 30 days - past the refund window - the commission is paid to you on the first of the next month.

Your affiliate page shows visits through your link, every referred sale and what it earned, and every payout.

How a referral is tracked

When somebody arrives through your link, the site asks them whether it may set a referral cookie. If they say yes, the cookie remembers your code for 90 days, and if they buy in that time the checkout carries your code to Stripe with the order. If they say no, or clear their cookies, or buy on a different browser or device, the sale cannot be credited to you - we would rather lose a referral than track somebody who asked us not to.

The most recent referral wins: if a visitor follows a second affiliate's link and allows the cookie again, a purchase after that is credited to the second affiliate.

  • Through Stripe. From your affiliate page you set up a free Stripe Express account. Stripe verifies who you are and holds your bank details and tax information - we never see them.
  • On the first of each month, everything that is at least 30 days old is sent to your Stripe account in one transfer. Stripe then pays it into your bank on its usual schedule.
  • Refunds and chargebacks. If a referred sale is refunded or disputed before its commission is paid, the commission is canceled. If that happens after it was paid, the amount is taken off your next payout.
  • Taxes on your earnings are yours to report. Stripe may collect a tax form from you and issue the forms your country requires.

Affiliate terms

By joining the program you agree to these terms, in addition to the site's Terms and License.

  • Commission. 20% of the amount the buyer paid for a license, excluding tax, for each purchase made within 90 days of following your link, with the referral cookie allowed. Your rate is the one in force when you joined.
  • No self-referrals. Purchases by you, on your account or with your email address, earn nothing.
  • No misleading promotion. Do not claim to be us, bid on our name in search ads, promise discounts or features that do not exist, send spam, or hide your link in a way that sets the cookie without the visitor choosing to follow it. Say that you earn a commission where the law or the platform requires it (the FTC's endorsement guides, for example).
  • Refunds and chargebacks reverse the commission, as described above.
  • Suspension. We may suspend an affiliate account for fraud or for breaking these terms. While suspended, the link earns nothing new and payouts are held while we look into it; commissions earned honestly before a suspension are still paid.
  • Changes. We may change or end the program with 30 days' notice by email. Commissions already earned are paid under the terms in force when they were earned.
  • Independent. You are not our employee, agent or partner, and may not make promises on our behalf.

Privacy

Your affiliate page shows the date, amount and commission of each sale you referred - never the buyer's name or email. We keep your code, your Stripe account ID and your payout records. The privacy policy has the details, for affiliates and for the people they refer.
